The Business Process Automation Badge sponsored by Elevate Talent and the Ted Rogers School of Management is awarded to individuals who have completed the 6-week programming specialized in Power Apps and Lean Six Sigma. Attendees have built a foundational understanding on Power Apps and used the platform to build an application that streamlines and automates legacy systems within a business setting. Attendees also had the option to participate in a virtual showcase with industry to explain the value of their application and how it would help improve workflow. Concepts and functions covered: - What is Microsoft Power Apps and what are its use cases and benefits - Technical functions of using Power Apps (Environments, Data sources, Connectors) - How to write and apply code to perform tasks - Create an application that utilizes: forms, functions/coding, lists, gallery, textboxes, images, buttons, symbols, property formatting etc.
